Related’s $12B Hudson Yards Casino Takes Center Stage

In a bold move set to redefine the iconic Hudson Yards skyline, Related Companies has unveiled ambitious plans for a sprawling three-tower development, including a massive casino complex. This announcement marks a pivotal moment in the competition for one of three coveted downstate gaming licenses, with Related’s proposal standing out among a flurry of contenders.

According to recent filings with the City Planning Department, Related’s visionary $12 billion project is set to transform a 13-acre expanse over the Western Rail Yards into a vibrant urban hub. Situated between West 30th and West 33rd streets along the picturesque Hudson River, the development promises to blend luxury living, commercial space, and entertainment seamlessly.

At the heart of the proposal lies a cutting-edge casino venture, a collaboration between Related and renowned gaming giant Wynn Resorts. Spanning a staggering 2.7 million square feet on the northern end of the site, the casino complex will soar 80 stories high, reaching a height of 1,200 feet.
